THE 4 ELEMENTS

   Another way to look at the 12 Signs is by ELEMENT.

12 Signs - 4 Elements - 3 Signs in each element 

    These are the 4 ELEMENTS: FIRE, EARTH, AIR and WATER. An easy way to remember their order is to think of the word FEAR, except replace the R with a W. Fire, Earth, Air and Water. FEAW. 

    Inside the body, the perfect balance of the 4 elements creates good health. Movement, exercise (FIRE), proper nutrients in the foods we eat (EARTH) and, well, AIR and WATER explain themselves.

    Below, you can see where the 4 elements are represented and how they interact with their own and others. You always get along with your own ELEMENT because you perceive the outside world the same way. Just find your Sun Sign.

FIRE (ACTIVITY) EARTH (PHYSICAL) AIR (MENTAL) WATER (EMOTIONAL)

  

    FIRE signs begin each SPECTIVE (1 CHILD 2 ADULT or 3 PARENT). It is the INSPIRATION that initiates an action. FIRE signs like activity; dancing, playing sports, travelling and performing are only a few.

(Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)

    EARTH signs experience the world through their 5 senses. It is the element through which you receive the world. EARTH signs enjoy many tastes and love dining out, often wear perfume or cologne, are aware of their appearance, and have a sensitive sense of smell. They have a the natural sense practical world and the physical needs both of themselves and others.

(Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)

    AIR signs love to discuss ideas and philosophies, they are the great thinkers. They are avid readers and will sit and debate for hours. Intellectual stimulation is more important to them than where they are, who they are with or what they possess.

(Gemini, Libra, Aquarius)

    WATER signs are the emotional ones. Our emotions are chemicals that travel through our bloodstream (blood - liquid - water). The most sensitive and intuitive of the elements, whether they hold it in or express it, they still feel it.

(Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces)

    I offer this as an introduction to the elements in their simplest form. They will be referenced in more detail in other articles.
