 1-2-3 SPECTIVE ASTROLOGY

THE BASICS

In 1-2-3 SPECTIVE ASTROLOGY, there are 3 basic principles:

The 12 signs are defined by taking one person’s life and walking it through 12 growth periods from infant to all loving grandparent (Aries to Pisces). This gives us 4 child signs, 4 adult signs and 4 parent signs.

The opposite sign is also part of you. (See "Astrology and Alcohol" article).

Only 2 planets are used; the Sun and Pluto.

As you read in my INTRODUCTION (if you read it) I tended bar for a long time and when my customers found out I studied astrology, they would ask "What's the best sign for me to be with?" or "Tell me about myself." After a few drinks, most patrons want to tell their bartender their deepest and darkest secrets and mine were willing to give up their birth information, so I could do their charts.  If you didn't know it before, bartenders have to take a greater vow of silence than priests, because we get them when they are drunk and they want to talk. After years of explaining about the signs, the information in this article became the best way to explain how all 12 signs relate to each other. And it has become the foundation for the "SPECTIVES" presentation of my work. I had one customer ask me where he could read more about it, my reply "I haven't written the book yet."

Let's look at all 12 astrological signs in relation to each other. We start with ARIES, when the astrological year begins in the spring and go all around until we get to PISCES, where it ends, we can take each sign and compare it to growth phases of one life, from INFANT to all-loving GRANDPARENT, through CHILD, ADULT and PARENT stages, that is to say, "the 1, 2 and 3 stages". The adjectives that describe each phase of growth describe the characteristics of each sign, no matter what their age, providing they have not consciously learned the lesson of their sign and evolved beyond it. If you are not happy with where you are in life and are looking for a change, a good place to begin is how to identify your issues. Does any of this sound familiar?

ARIES is the INFANT, who relates to the energy of life, is fearless, makes a great athlete but not a good team player.

TAURUS is the TODDLER, who is fascinated with their 5 senses, this is their first interaction with the outside world.

GEMINI is the SIBLING, the first verbal communication with another human outside themselves.

CANCER is the last step before one relates to the world outside their home. It is the HOME and NURTURING. Cancer rules the stomach, it is in their nature to feed the world.

The first 4 signs are the CHILD signs, (the 1 of 1, the subjective, self).

**********************************************************

LEO is the PUPPY LOVE stage of life. LEO says, "Look how this make me feel". It is Leo's nature to be center stage, to be cuddled and pampered. There are more entertainers that are LEO, than any other sign.

VIRGO is the next natural progression in a relationship which is "What can I do for you?" SERVICE TO OTHERS. First, you say, "Look how this makes me feel. Then, you say 'What can I do for you?'" They often exhaust themselves in serving others needs.

LIBRA is the CONSCIOUS MARRIAGE CONTRACT; "I'll do this if you do that." The intellectual deal. Where VIRGO does because they feel the need to serve and serve and serve, LIBRA brings an agreement to the table for balance.

SCORPIO is PASSION. It is the passion that leads to the edge of the orgasm without completion, They draw a circle around their world and want to control all that is in that circle, even if it includes you; this gives them staying power, but pushes that control to the limit in their passion that can become destructive to both themselves and others in the circle. SCORPIO is the last of the ADULT sign.
The second 4 signs are the ADULT signs, (the 1 0f 2, the objective, other).

***********************************************************************************

SAGITTARIUS is the 1st parent sign, Scorpio may be the passion, but Sagittarius is the SEXUAL ENERGY that produces regeneration, the expansion into the outside world. They excitement and knowledge of the big picture.

CAPRICORN is the FATHER, the behavior for that part of life when you are saving for retirement, feeling responsible for the future and the family. When a Capricorn is young, they may have 3 paper routes, a lemonade stand and 6 bank accounts, responsible and planning ahead to provide.

AQUARIUS is the HUMANITARIAN sign, they look at things from a very different perspective that others. They truly get how the big picture includes all and the desire for everyone to have equal opportunities.

PISCES is the ALL-LOVING GRANDPARENT, being the last sign, they seem to have compassion and bonding with all the other signs which leads them, often, to poor boundaries and blending in with others.

The last 4 signs are the PARENT signs, (the 1 of 3 or more, the collective, all).

I'll be going into more detail on the individual signs in other articles but this one gives an overview of each in relation to the others.

Since the 12 signs see through the perspective of 1, 2 or 3, ("SPECTIVES" for short), I call this theory "1-2-3 SPECTIVE ASTROLOGY". I intend to present it as the basis for substantially more in depth understanding of both the self and the whole; psychologically, biologically, karmically and historically.

   Blessings on your journey,
