WHAT IF ... ASTROLOGY WAS EASY AS COUNTING?
INTRO TO THE NUMBERS
I got online in 1995, Windows was 3.1 and the internet was dial-up. I spent 6 months studying 16th Century Alchemy texts that someone translated from German because they affiliated the planets and signs with nutrients (that grew during certain seasons of the year that coordinated with the sign.) and parts of the body. I was fascinated. I never dreamt this information existed, let alone where to look for it, if it wasn't for being online. "When the student is ready, the teacher appears". Seems the teacher takes many forms.
It was like all the libraries in the world were at my fingertips. I sought to research TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), the 12 major organs of the body and the 12 meridians, the 7 chakras and the workings of the human body. At that time, there was very little information in English outside the basics. If you wanted to learn about TCM, you had to be able to understand Chinese. If you wanted to learn about the chakras, you had to be able to understand Hindi and if you wanted to learn about the human body, you had to be able to understand Latin. What kept repeating itself throughout my research, easy enough to understand, were the numbers 7 and 12: 7 visible planets, 7 visible colors, 7 chakras, 7 endocrine glands, 12 major organs, 12 meridians, 12 signs, finally something that everyone could understand; numbers.
My goal is to present what I have learned about using Astrology as a tool to identify what doesn't work in our lives and how to evolve beyond the patterns in a manner that is easy to understand and apply. What if there is indeed "order in the universe"? Or at least, "order in the solar system?"
